She’s at a shop, ready to be repaired after the insurance people look her over, and determine if she can be fixed.

If she can, I’ll be driving her for awhile longer, at least till next summer.

If she can’t, I’m probably going to use the insurance money on a temporary car, drive that until summer, Then trade up.

Damn I miss her...

heh, you’ll have to get through my mom. she’s already shot down most options. my choices are:

1) drive fixed GLI if it’s fixed. sell next summer for something new.

2) sell fixed GLI. I take mom’s jetta 2.5. mom buys new car (CC possibly) I buy new car next summer.

3) GLI's totaled. I buy a relatively cheap car till next summer.

Well you know what I’d suggest, no surprise — if the GLI it totaled, buy a cheap replacement that won’t cost you a cent to maintain, set aside the remainder of the insurance buyout for the next car, and add to the fund the amount of money you’ll make (and save) over the course of owning an inexpensive go-getter, and then add the money of selling said go-getter! Say, I know something that costs only 2k that will cost zero dollars to maintain:

If you are gonna end up selling the car then hopefully the car is totaled. The reason I say this is because if you do fix it not only is the car not going to drive the same but that car fax when it comes time to sell is going to look bad, it’ll be a tough sell and you will get lowballed.

I wouldn’t buy a car that's been in this type of accident.

To je dobro. Jedna briga manje za tebe - a da ih nije bilo, bilo bi zajebano...

Pre par godina sam ekao nekog auta ispred mene da skrene levo - umesto da skrene, kreten je ubacio u rikverc i zakucao se u moj auto... Nije bilo svedoka, znai moja re protiv njegove.

Iako je njegova izjava bila PUNA rupa i neloginih stvari, morao sam da se borim da krivica bude 50-50, umesto 100% na mene (a bila je njegova 100%). Ljudi su govna.

U kolima je sad montirana dobra dash-kamera, jer se najbolje naui preko sopstvenih lea jbg...

Lepo. Ja koristim Mini 0805 (vrlo slino izgleda)...dobro snima, ne vidi se spolja, i taman sam ga sakrio iza ogledala pa se ne vidi uopšte hehe
